I was told years ago that DELTA stood for Deliver Every Living Thing to Atlanta. But on the bright side, your luggage made it home with you, right?Cassandrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14014364075372108257noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27637600.post-17626771163108084892007-05-08T13:37:00.000-05:002007-05-08T13:37:00.000-05:00Oh my god I am dying laughing that she pulled that...Oh my god I am dying laughing that she pulled that Jamaica thing. I think i would have probably lost my shit and killed her right there on the plane.

I had nearly the exact same thing happen to me flying from Berlin to Frankfurt back in January. Frankfurt airport had all flights coming in delayed so we sat on our plane for nearly an hour before leaving and I knew my connecting flight only gave me about an hour. Unfortunately for me, my flight was Lufthansa and my connecting flight United...in another terminal on the other side of Frankfurt Airport. I missed it by five minutes and spent THREE HOURS in line to get rebooked. United refused to rebook me since Lufthansa made me late and Lufthansa made everyone late that day so I had the pleasure of standing in line for three hours to get rebooked. I was livid. I spent about nearly 8 hours in the Frankfurt airport, went through customs and passport control three times going back and forth from Lufthansa and United because they kept sending me around. It was a nightmare. I think all airlines suck when it comes to dealing with people who miss connecting flights. I emailed United to complain and to date have not received a single reply. If I didn't have all my miles with them I'd never fly them again.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
